Her focus during the hospital-based general practice residency at Carilion Clinic was on medically compromised and special needs patients. Specializing in family dentistry, she excels in esthetics, internal bleaching, restorations, and crowns. Dr Buckwalter emphasizes patient-centered care, empowering them through informed choices. Inspired by her former boss, Dr Edward Hindman Jr., she chose dentistry after years as his dental assistant. She looks forward to advancing her skills in complex prosthodontic cases alongside Dr Powell and welcomes patients of all ages and conditions.
