Dr Divakar Karanth is the Program Director of Graduate Orthodontics and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics. He is an American Board of Orthodontics Certified Orthodontist. Dr Karanth completed his MS and Certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Kentucky. He is a Member of The Edward H Angle Society of Orthodontists, North Atlantic Component. Dr Karanth is the current President of the Society of Educators, the American Association of Orthodontists. His research interests are bone regeneration, the biology of tooth movement, and the application of Artificial Intelligence in orthodontics. Dr Karanth has published several orthodontics articles and is a reviewer for various journals.
