Daniel B Nigus grew up on a farm in Northeast Kansas where he became accustomed to hard work at a young age. Being from a household of very modest means, he was determined to get an education to improve the standard of living for his future family. He excelled in high school, both in the classroom and in sports, realizing that anything in life worth having is worth working for. Daniel B Nigus worked to put himself through college. He attended Missouri Western State College and the University of Kansas for his undergraduate studies in Biology from 1985-1989. In 1989, he was accepted into Dental School at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in May of 1993.
