Mark is a graduate of The University of Iowa. He continued his studies and graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 1985. Dr. Geis spent eight years as a United States Air Force dentist. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Iowa Dental Association, and the Des Moines Dental Association. Dr. Geis is married to wife, Beth, and has two grown children.
