Tacachale Dental Clinic is located on the campus of Tacachale, a large state-operated residential facility for adults with developmental disabilities. Tacachale was built in 1920 and currently serves 470 residents. Faculty and residents from the Department of Pediatric Dentistry currently provide care to the residents of Tacachale 5 days per week. Reduced-fee dental care UF College of Dentistry students and faculty participate in programs such as the We Care Physicians Network (352) 334-7926 and CHOICES. Such programs provide limited services for qualified individuals that may be reduced in fees.
